James Doohan, R.I.P.
One thing I missed when I was on the cruise last week was the death of James Doohan, who played Scotty on "Star Trek". I'm not a huge trekkie, but Doohan lived in Redmond and came to a group meeting back in 1996, which is how I will remember him.Posted by AdamBa at July 28, 2005 10:46 PM

I knew he served in WW2 and landed at Juno, I had no idea he was the first off his boat.
