The Bug Hunter

This is a little interview about the book I did for TechRepublic (not sure how it wound up on CNETAsia). I'm most proud of slipping in the line "what cavemen used to debug fire" which is straight out of The Soul of a New Machine (an oscilloscope is described the same way, when compared to a logic analyzer).

When I was doing some research for Proudly Serving My Corporate Masters, I read a "where are they now?" article about the TSOANM crew, and discovered that Jim Veres, one of the engineers from Data General, was working at Microsoft at the time. I sent him email and he was kind enough to answer my question (about Craig Mundie's role in the whole thing).
