Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town

That is the title of Cory Doctorow's new novel. According to Amazon's listing it won't be out until my birthday.

Here's an excerpt from the blurb: "Alan understands. He himself has a secret or two. His father is a mountain; his mother is a washing machine; and among his brothers are a set of Russian nesting dolls."

The reason I am postoing any of this is because the title of the book reminded me of Dhalgren. The only problem with this hypothesis is that it would imply that more than one person had actually read that book, which isn't likely to be true.

Perhaps if I slap in some links to Doctorow's site, he will see this and reply.

Hey, I read Dhalgren. Three or four times (it took that long to figure it out).
