Cool Pictures by Satoshi Kuribayashi

I saw this in Natural History magazine. Kuribayashi is a photographer who modifies his camera so he can take pictures where both an extremely close object and a distant background are in focus. The resulting effect can make insects look giant, like in the photo I show here. If you go to his site you can see more examples (click on Enter, then choose Gallery 1, "Micro Landscape"; the one I saw in the magazine was image #3). He also took the pictures for a book called In Front of the Ant, but I can't tell how good those are (the picture on Amazon, ironically, is out of focus).
