This is the emergency page at Tulane University (which is currently also the homepage). It shows the progression of reaction to the hurricane: from being open normally, to planning to close until September 1, to evacuating students to Jackson State, to postponing classes until September 7, to not knowing when classes would resume, to recommending that students return home to wait, to having their emergency team leave New Orleans for Houston so they could begin planning the recovery in a place with power, phones, Internet access, food, and water.Posted by AdamBa at September 1, 2005 10:11 PM
