Athletic Enhancement

A couple of highbrow media outlets have articles that echo what I discussed in my review of Juiced by Jose Canseco, that the distinction between steroid use and recent medical advances is a tricky one. The New Yorker had a discussion of Juiced (among other books, including Microsoftie Ramez Naam's More than Human), and Slate asked why elective LASIK was different from steroids.
